We are Karolina and Malin – sisters-in-law, mothers and creators, united by our love for family, colour and quiet moments.

Little Heart & i took shape in Gothenburg in 2026, born from a belief that art can create meaningful pauses in everyday life. The path here has been shaped by life’s greatest gifts – becoming parents and the joy of creating together. But also by moments of reflection and sorrow that have taught us to slow down and appreciate the little things.

Returning to painting became our way to breathe and find calm again. As parents, we know how valuable it is to have a place where you can simply exhale – and those are the gentle spaces we hope to help you create in a child’s room.

Our hope is that our illustrations can bring a little more stillness, warmth and presence into a child’s room, a reading corner or wherever you create your own quiet refuge. For us, it is not only about art – but about the feeling it leaves in the room.
